Have you ever met a child who is battling a life-threatening illness? I have and I can assure you that it causes extreme worry and distress for the child and their loved ones. So many hopes and dreams are put on hold as they battle their illness and muster the courage to face many challenges, uncertainties and fears.
A wish fulfilled can inspire hope and happiness and alleviate worry for these precious youngsters. A trip to Disney, a lap top computer, or the affectionate cuddle of a little kitten are examples of remarkable wishes that have been granted over the years that provided inspiration and strength to a child whose medical challenges are so great.
For 25 years we have been providing once in a lifetime dreams come true, bringing smiles to the faces of children. With the support of people like you we have granted over 650 wishes to children representing every corner of the province. Currently we are crafting together the complexities of 65 wishes and we are asking for your help.
The Children’s Wish Foundation Home Lottery is a unique fundraiser that provides funding to grant children with a high risk illness their special wish. Your purchase of a ticket gives you a chance to win some fabulous prizes, and a child a chance to have their wish come true.
